What better way to sleep like royalty than to sleep in a castle. During my travels to Canada, I got to see this castle-inspired hotel that towered over Quebec City.

North California has the Golden Gate Bridge, New York has the Statue of Liberty, and Quebec City has the Château Frontenac as a part of the skyline. The story behind the castle is that it was never originally for royalty. Built to function as a hotel, the architect behind Le Château Frontenac wanted to take inspiration from chateaus for the wealthy that stayed in Quebec City. I could not afford even a night to stay there, however; seeing the castle in the skyline made the city all the more beautiful.
